NPO “Pusk” announced the creation of an ultra-secure and durable laptop. The novelty received the sonorous name “Portable Multifunctional Computing Device” 1711 (PMVU-1711) and is designed for operation in difficult field conditions. The laptop is designed specifically for military and government officials, it is impenetrable for water, high temperatures, immune to shocks and falls, which means that it will be available in various combat arms, including pilots, sailors and submariners.
The notebook will be assembled on the basis of the Intel i7 3517UE quad-core processor, inside will be 4 gigabytes of RAM and a 240 gigabyte hard drive, a 17.3-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and a webcam capable of shooting video with resolution in 2048 x 1536 pixels.
The weight of this aluminum armored handsome will be about 10 kilograms at a size of 45.6 x 8.6 x 34.4 cm. It will consume about 60 watts and can work on one charge up to four hours. NPO “Pusk” informs that the armored computer is going to be brought to the exhibition “Interpolitex-2016”, which will be held in October 2016. The specific dates for the beginning of mass production of new items have not yet been reported.
