German automaker Volkswagen continues to saturate its conceptual line of electric vehicles I.D. new models. Officially presented only three models – hatchback I.D., minivan I.D. Buzz and crossover I.D. Crozz, of the leaks are aware of the three developments I.D. Lounge, I.D. AEROe and I.D. Streetmate, but now there is information about a couple of new products.

Information came from the World Intellectual Property Organization WIPO, in which Volkswagen registered two new names I.D. Freeler and I.D. Cruiser. Accurate data that this is for electric vehicles for obvious reasons yet, but experts have already suggested that it is a sedan and another crossover.

Let's remind that the German company plans to bring to the market hatchback Volkswagen ID and crossover I.D. Crozz already in 2019-2020, but the serial minivan I.D. Buzz should appear a little later, approximately in 2022.

The novelties will be based on a single modular platform MEB, developed by the brand specifically for cars with electric motors. The brand's electric vehicles will receive propulsion units of various capacities and a power reserve of one battery charge up to 500 km under the new European test cycle NEDC.

In this case, between 2019 and 2022 the German company is going to present two more models: the I.D. Lounge and sports compartment I.D. AEROe, which may well represent a conceptual version of the production Volkswagen Scirocco EV. Also, there have been rumors recently about the possibility of replacing the current generation of the legendary "Beetle" with an all-electric VW Beetle with a rear-wheel drive.
