The characteristics of the first "frameless" smartphone Sony H8541

The current flagship Sony Xperia XZ1

We already know that in the next generation of smartphones Sony will go from the proprietary design concept OmniBalance with symmetrical side panels and rounded corners of the side frame and will follow the fashion on 18: 9 displays with thin frames. What will the first smartphone of the Japanese manufacturer look like in the so-called frameless design is still to be found, but for now it is possible to get acquainted with its expected characteristics.

The first frameless Sony smartphone is under the model number H8541 in the leak. Of course, it's impossible to guarantee the reliability of a photo with a characteristic, but this is true for all rumors and leaks, so you simply do not need to trust this data unconditionally.

So, judging from the information in the table, the smartphone will get the Triluminos display with a diagonal of 5.7 inches and 4K resolution with support for X-Reality technologies and extended dynamic range of HDR. The basis of the device will be the current flagship SoC Snapdragon 835, and not the upcoming Snapdragon 845. So far the only logical explanation is that the smartphone will be presented in February on MWC 2018 and only Samsung will be able to get Snapdragon 845 before, not before the spring of 2018.

The amount of operational and built-in memory will be 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash memory, respectively. Also mentioned is the Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS and NFC modules, USB-C connector, IP65 / 68 dust and moisture protection and Android 8.0 Oreo. The battery capacity is 3420 mAh, it will support the Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology.

Even sizes – 149х74х7, 5 mm are mentioned, but unfortunately there is no information about the cameras yet.
